Tin Camp

Tin Camp Studios provide a safe and welcoming space for unique music and cultural events. The studios are constructed from salvaged materials and modelled on typical 1950s Tin Camp's, found on the fringe of countless Australian townships.

Tin Camp Sessions at Pangaea will have a rich focus on storytelling. The sessions may include music, sound, film, spoken word or other forms of communication. Healing is the main focus, with founder Warren Mason sharing his own personal journey.

The Tin Camp is a fluid and creative space, bring your instrument, your story or your listening presence and immerse in the relaxed fold. Tin Camp is also a dry space, bring water only.

You never know who could pick up the guitar and start a jam! Drop in for a yarn and various creative workshops, or a cup of billy tea and a fresh round of storytelling in the morning.

Tin Camp is presented in conjunction with Contemporary Art Tasmania and Kath Melbourne.

Warren is a proud Yuwaalaraay man with links to the Yorta Yorta. He sees the concept of the Tin Camp as a healing tool, a safe space to share his story, to welcome others to become part of it and share their own.
