Landcare Tasmania work to represent, support, strengthen and grow community Landcare.
Their vision is simple but ambitious – For all the land & coasts to be cared for by the community; empowering people to make a difference.
Community Landcare is a unique movement in which individuals and groups work together to improve the health of our natural and working landscapes. Landcare’s approach to environment and sustainability issues is ‘bottom up’, with the community taking ownership of the problem and being actively involved in the solutions. The work of our members includes eradicating invasive weeds, revegetating bushland, managing farms to improve sustainability, controlling erosion, cleaning up beaches and much more.
