Good Life Permaculture

Join Good Life Permaculture to learn about soil food web relationships, organic matter transformation and wicking bed demonstration in these informative and practical workshops.

Nadia from Good Life Permaculture will take you on a glorious journey on how to improve soil and make your own soil fertility. She will talk about plants, soil food web relationships, organic matter transformation and then demonstrate a couple of these transformations (composting, worm farming, liquid fertilisers) using waste from the festival site and resources from the local area and community.

Next up will be a practical wicking bed design build plus a demonstration of how to apply this organic matter transformation to make your own soil to fill the wicking beds. These wicking beds (water-wise food beds) will stay on-site to feed future festival crew and patrons for years to come.

Nadia Danti has worked with Good Life Permaculture for 3 years and brings years of market gardening experience. Nadia is passionate about soil health and understanding the ecosystem under our feet, as well as supporting people to connect to their local food system and empowering them to grow some of their own food in whatever size space they have.
