The materials which go into my designs are all collected from my local area. From tip shops, op-shops, friends, garage sales, the side of the road... come broken and otherwise unusable things; inner tubes, sports equipment, toys, household items, interesting unidentifiable flotsam and jetsam...
Our modern life creates a plethora of debris which I choose to embrace as wellspring of raw potential ripe for transformation into objects both beautiful and useful. Wear them with pride, knowing that as they adorn you, so are you giving them the opportunity of unexpected relationships with the world, making all our journeys that much more interesting and rewarding.
