Coralee moved to lutruwita / Tasmania in 2019 and started experimenting with natural dyeing after discovering the practice on Groote Eylandt at an art gallery displaying beautifully hand dyed silks from the local Anindilyakwa people. This new creative territory and new community encouraged her to create more with a purpose. Through the opportunities to facilitate natural dyeing workshops, she has been able to inspire the community to share culture, be present in nature, and live harmoniously with each other and the environment.
